The person I see as a regular at the pub is not someone with whome I would necessarily share my darkest secrets but that sort of acquaintance is low level kind of friendship. "She was controversial with some posts...But she was one of the old guard. When you've been on the forums years, 80% at least of the discussions and threads in here you've seen before? Probably why she usually liked our posts tbf and that's probably why she was controversial, trying to inject new life into the forums as she saw it? And there's not many of the old guard left, the ones that were on here when I was a wide-eyed newbie called Mr Lick 77 almost a decade ago perhaps (can't remember the exact time I joined! )
