Yeah it can do for sure. I had a little bit of a lack of mojo after it had healed. Just didn’t fancy using it even though it wasn’t hurting any more. My advice would be to try and jump on the horse as it were. Try and have sex even if you’re not mentally feeling it. Hope it helps

My experience was that it didn't affect anything other than my ability to impregnate. I don't think we managed a full week before having sex (gently), and it certainly hasn't had any negative effects at all.

I know someone who had it. He's still at it like a rabbit.

Never affected me, if anything I wanted it more because I was able to go bareback all the time with my partner, my advice would be to do nothing but ice those babies for 24 hours after the procedure

(ray)

Made no difference for me, couple of days of discomfort (wasn't painful at all)

I had my tubes cauterised and it smelt like burnt bacon when they did it

Also they advised a week before I had sex again but after 24 hours I gave the monkey a cheeky spank and all was well

mis-types and auto corrects leads cock leeds

As with any procedure it carries risks.

Myself I have a constant ache in my left side from my left nut that radiates into my lower abdomen, the ache you get after banging your nuts, if I bump my left side putting things into my pocket it can drop me like a stone, ejaculation is painful again think being kicked in the nuts.

Dr says scar tissue has formed on some nerve(s).

Camberley occasionally doncaster

Just remember that you need 2 clear samples before unprotected sex without birth control isn't an issue. My ex wife caught pregnant a month after I had mine done.

I've had no loss of libido since mine

hubby had one 20 years ago. It hasn't affected him in anyway. Maybe it's a few unfortunate ones. Could it be a psychological thing?

I gave it a week or so before sex, a little apprehensive the first time but it was fine. Never had any adverse effects on my desire.

Bacon!? Smells like burnt hair to me (I work in a clinic that provides vasectomies)

I'm thinking psychological. There's no medical reason for it to affect libido unless you're experiencing issues with pain which can understandably put a dampener on things. For some men, even when they're very sure they don't want any more children, it can still do a bit of a number on them mentally knowing they're no longer fertile.

I had it done 2 weeks ago and I’m not going to lie to you it was a terrible experience. It wasn’t Necessarily painful but more uncomfortable and you shouldn’t be awake when they are cutting your balls up . But for 20 minutes of that my Mrs can come off the pill as one of her friends got cancer and her doctor said one of the causes was long term use of the contraceptive pill.

I haven’t noticed any affects as I seem to be back to normal now but they said she should stay on the pill for 4 months as you kind of have a back up supply

No effect on libido. I produce less volume.

I got an infection in my nut sack about 4 days after having it done, swelled up to the size of a coconut. Most unpleasant.

Had it done around 10 years ago and if anything, it actually made me hornier. Experienced no pain or anything, just wanted to fuck all the time. Guess I was one of the lucky ones as I do know some guys who have had severe pain and swelling from the procedure.

Had it done in the summer. Absolutely no problem for me. One slightly uncomfortable feeling in one part of the procedure however it was over in seconds and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Slightly dull ache after and had to wear tight pants for a week.

It absolutely in no way effected my libido in any way. I even managed a solo play a few days to check it still worked. I highly recommend it.

Had mine done about 10 years ago. Enough children, no reason not to have the op.

Went absolutely fine - until recently. My wife and I were was discussing a threesome with a male friend. She said that she would have to be ready with a Morning After pill as he is still fertile. I wasn’t ready for the mental side of feeling incomplete.

Wouldn’t go back though. All those opportunities of being bare inside someone completely outweighs any negatives.

I had mine done on the cheap as in I did it myself as in I’m a muppet and diabetic and like a bit(a lot) of chocolate so ten years ago thanks to me running blood sugar levels of over 25 all day every day I stopped spunking which I thought strange and looked it up and turns out my pumping spunk muscle is fucked so I come into my bladder.

And soon after I became impotant so that was my sex addict life over.

So ‘‘twas free and I didn’t loose my sex drive and that is the reason we are on fab.

Tony

couple, us we him her.

Had pain for about a year afterwards I don't think I have mentally recovered from the fact that I am not able to father children anymore.

Sex drive has definitely diminished since having it.

I had mine done over 20 years ago, by a surgeon friend who encouraged me to watch and then made a show of pulling various bits about in mid air...so that was mildly odd to say the least. I only had a few days discomfort but the thing that worried me the most was how would I feel upon the first ejaculation, post-op - my GP had told me it would feel a bit odd 'until it (semen) works out it's got nowhere to go' (exact words) but in fact I didn't really feel anything. I'd say I've felt a much bigger mojo than before, that's probably psychological. The one big change was that I had to shave my nuts for the op and I discovered that I quite liked that, subsequently extending to a bit more 'manscaping'. And, Ms Bicpl likes that, too - I also remember being suitably embarrassed about handing in a semen sample at the hospital lab

Don't listen to them, it's all bollocks.

Yes you have to be careful for a few days and it can be very irritable.. But they actually recommend have sex regularly afterwards to "clear the pipes" so to speak

Had it done erm 15 years ago now.

Never had kids and wanted to make sure of that.

But before you do go for it, have a proper think about it.

Don't do it just because wife/gf etc want it, it's your body so you need to be sure.

Other than that, never had a problem.

I got a letter from my doctor to say he had done something like 30 000 vasectomies and I was in good hands.

When I got there I was introduced to another doctor and I was to be his first vasectomy. The experienced doctor did the left in a couple of minutes. The new doctor battled for about 15 minutes without the experienced doctor did nothing to help. To this day the right hand side is very sensitive and painful for no reason whatever, also mystery lumps on that side... nightmare!
