After having drier issues ... its now issued a product safety alerts (risk of fire) over its washing machines.

If you have a whirlpool washer (lotz of brands ) best check folks there are over 500,000 machines affected.

My tumble dryer was "fixed" a few years ago but then I saw it was possibly not so much a fix as just a sticker.

I don't leave it running unattended but I'll upgrade in the new year
