In the scenario where you meet someone without a social first and it isn't what's advertised on the tin. What was your escape method or did you go through with it to save any awkwardness?

I'd never "go through with it" to save awkwardness, I've got more respect for myself and the people we meet.

Far better to suffer a moment of awkward conversation in my opinion.

Only meets that have gone wrong for me really are when someone didn't bother to turn up or let me know. Very frustrating but you learn from it... Hasn't happened in a while!

You have every right as a man or woman to say you dont feel comfortable etc and leave, as long as you're polite about it as adults you'd hope it would be ok.

I've had 2 socials where they said on their profile they were 5'8 and were the same size as me in my sandals. 1 drink then I went home. I don't mind short, I'm short myself, just be honest x

My first time on here I was 21 and enjoying the slut phase so had a lot of hookups, loved it. One of my worst meet was with a guy that was verified as God's gift to oral. Anyway when he turned up you could tell that he was friends with photoshop and his kisses were sloppy and he gave head like an excited puppy. I didn't even bother faking it false confidence does no one any favours

Hiding in the shadows

In my early days here - I had a social, where I escaped out of a toilet window!

Lesson learnt

Totally agree with this one especially as the wife puts a lot of effort into a meet and they can’t be arsed to even let you know they aren’t coming
