I've message loads of women on here. Ones that are local and I fit into their wants and still not getting replies. Is there something wrong with me or do they not actually want to meet up for sex? Which isn't that exactly what this site is for?

If we got that it would be an instant delete. There is nothing of any interest there. There is no personality or humour, and nothing to suggest we would get on. It's not impolite, it's just plain uninteresting.

I would tie that into your profile too but I'm not allowed if you haven't invited comments about it.

The very least I would want to read is why you think we'd get on. I don't just mean why you like us but why you think we might like you.

We can count on one hand the amount of actual meets we've purely had turn up off here in over a year, and we get loads of messages sent to us.

The majority of our meets are from clubs, don't pin your hopes on Fab alone, it's not great pickings.

I've met girls being out and about, Pubs, nightclubs etc but never actually had a meet from fab. And some of the ladies on here are proper stunners so wouldnt mind a few meets

You really need to up your game. There’s no point is asking what you should write because every profile is different and has to approached according to what they have written. You have to put your personality across and insure that you address both their profile, what you can offer, and what you’re hoping for. There’s no magic button on Fab.

Status makes it seem like anyone will do. The first paragraph of your profile is also a bit off putting that you can't think of anything that makes you not like every other guy on here.

Personally I go for men that have a bit of something about them. Wit, humour, interesting opinions. Men who aren't afraid to put some off by being them as they want to meet people who suit them, not just appeal to as much of the masses as possible. The messages that appeal to me are the ones that are clearly personal to me and that give me a bit on an insight into who they are. The last person I met, his first message described me as a tall, cool drink on a warm summer's day. I found it amusing and his sense of humour has continued along those lines. So don't try to steal that unless you can keep it up .

Your message says:

"Take a look at my profile and let me know if your interested".

So I looked at your profile and found this:

"What can I say about myself that doesn't make me sound like every other guy on here? Theres not much to be honest."

So you make somebody go to the trouble of looking at your profile (which most won't from that message) and the reward for them is that you literally tell them you are the same as every other man on this site!

You then go on to say:

"... if I say everything about me here then what would we have to talk about...?"

You you have said absolutely nothing about yourself despite directing them to your profile to find out more about you!

I think you are asking the wrong question to the wrong people. Instead of asking us what's wrong with you, ask yourself what you have done to present yourself as somebody worth having a conversation with, both in messages, photos and profile text. I'm sure we on the forum can help you with that if you wanted. I recommend you try answering it here on this thread if you like and get people to comment on your response.

If a woman doesn't want to message you on here, she won't want to meet you socially. If she doesn't want to meet you socially, she is unlikely to want you in her bed. You are not a charity. Nobody is here to meet your needs. What would somebody get from meeting you, and how will they know? Those are the real questions you need to ask.

All the comments and advice have been greatly appreciated. Had some very valid points made and can see a lot of my mistakes now. I'm going back to the drawing board to rewrite my profile and then try out a few different opening messages.

Any other pointers would be very much welcomed.

Every first message I ever sent got deleted. It didn’t matter what I included.in it. When I joined in on the forum I realised that if you arse about on the forum, flirt and generally be a nuisance you get messages. So haven’t sent a first message since unless it was on the back of a forum game.

I don’t get to meet but it’s much less time consuming than crafting messages and less frustrating than not getting replies.

Truth is for single men its a shark tank, and no amount of advice from everyone will work. You could try numerous strategies and none of them would be right for the person you message cos youre different to the guys who get it all so their strategies may not work for you. Find your own style, keep being you, dont try too hard. At the end of the day the more you try and dont succeed youd be better off not looking around and just waiting for the right ones to come along. After all the ones that are right for you will find you eventually. The more you try and fail though can be bad for you and your self esteem.

Ive pretty much stopped messaging ppl for chatting and meets cos i run into the exact same problem, been using the site on and off for a few years now, never met a single woman here despite trying all kinds of different ways to be more worth meeting with first impressions. Now i dont give a fuck. The right ones will come along, if not, their loss.

Just dont waste energy on something that may never work out for you, sometimes playing smart is not playing the game at all
