Who doesn’t get time off work over Christmas?

Shout out to all NHS staff, Carers, police, fire brigade and shop staff (as well as any others) who don’t get time off over Christmas.

Who has drawn the short straw this year and got to work Christmas Day?

I’m working 2 half shifts the weekend before Christmas then 12 hours Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and another half shift Saturday...but at least I get Christmas Day off.

3 weeks today and I’m heading off to Prague with my daughter for a week so at least I’ve got something to look forward to lol

Wednesdays and Thursdays are my normal days off, so luckily I have Christmas day, St Stephen's day and New Year's day off.

Meeeee. Off Christmas Eve, doing a four hour breakfast shift on Christmas Day, off Boxing Day (maybe) then working an evening shift on the bar on NYE and a ten hour split on New Year's Day! Not so bad as I get triple time on Christmas Day and double on New Year's Day. Get to spend the last few hours of the year working with my work fling, so fingers crossed I'll get a New Year's smooch.

Yup working through out. Have Christmas Eve off but at 4.30am start.

Going to cost a boom to commute.

Childcare is proving to be a nightmare also.

Hope it goes smoothly for every one.
