Is it me or are car headlights getting brighter. We live in the countryside so there aren't many lights on the road, so people drive with their full beam on a lot of the time.(like their lights aren't bright enough as they are)

Driving and being blinded in narrow lanes is scary.

surrounded by twinkly lights

I agree it's ok on a lit street as it diffuses them, but in the forest it's a nightmare

Hiding in the shadows

The new LED lights, actually blind me.

I'm left dazzled, seeing blue spots, like whdn you stare at a light bulb, when a car passes me.

I've had to have glasses just for driving with a glare tint/filter added to them

The problem isn't that they are too bright, just poorly adjusted... And normally stay that way for 3 years till there first MOT

I think I may have to get some myself because it's bad by us

Maldon and Peterborough

Cars used to be fitted with 55w bulbs - now many are fitted with 100w bulbs, but the light spread is wider.

But seen head on can look brighter

by the big field

Its beter than the numerous muppets i've seen in the last two weeks either driving with fog lights on in the rain or having no lights on at all

Are the filter glasses worth it?

I’m starting to reconsider driving it night, I’m finding it so stressful, I just can’t see.

I think so.

I drive an awful lot, often in the dark

I was getting home, going to bed, having migraines, really suffering.

Since I've had the filter, it's made a huge difference.

I still get dazzled, especially if it's very dark lace narrow Lane, alot of them around here

But the blue lights & headaches have stopped xx
