When this is introduced over the summer do you think it will be....

a great tool to help find meets?

Whichever it is I would like to this feature be something you have to opt in to, not out of. I.e. you need to explicitly enable it.

Personally, I think that women will not use it through safety concerns and stalking fears whilst the guys will turn it in, effectively making it the Fab Sausage Fest Radar.

I'd think about switching it on if we were out n about round the pubs. Never in my day to day life would I want everyone knowing my whereabouts.

am on a chat site that ises GPS and its a pain in the ass, if yo go somewhere for the day you get laods of messages from guys round there then you have to explain you were just on a day trip

i will not be using it, when im off fab in off fab, i dont live to meet and i dont want other knowing where i am while im walking down the street, and i wouldnt be happy at all if someone just came over to me while i was out doing my day to day stuff and started talking about a meet

what if you forget to log off, easily done, and someone comes over to you while your with you kids, and believe me that wouldnt stop some people coming over to say hi

Of course admin will make it opt in so those with real life worries can continue to pay "safe".

I'm looking forward to the sausage fest and fun if there are enough in any given area out in the provinces. You people in London, Madchester, Liverpool and boimingham should be well set.

I really don't see Fab being the key to Skynet becoming self aware just because they enabled Geolocation!

If Skynet read the forums it may come to the conclusion that the human race wouldn't turn up to its own extinction but would phone up a couple of hours before to cancel, or just not show up. Or humanity wouldn't reply to its nice intro message. Our it would just crash looking at the cock pics.

Though if anyone does want to propagate the fantasy, I'm happy to turn up on your doorstep wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses proclaiming 'come with me if you want to swing'

As someone who travels with work and enjoys the odd fumble in places other fumblers may be thin on the ground I'd use this. Even if it's just for a chat or a drink.

So long as you can switch it on and off when you like of course!

A lot of Android and iphone apps use GPS, you may be surprised as to what apps do use GPS. If the fab GPS is only active when browsing the site we see no issue with it, mobile phone triangulation can be used to pin point any persons phone within ten foot, and can be used by anyone with a credit card and the internet. In our opinion we don't think stalking is going to be an issue.
