what makes you think wow

I know everyone is different but thought I'd start a forum post about messages. A lot say they don't like one liners a lot say they like a message with thought put into it.

So what is it that makes you want to keep reading the message? What do you look for in a message, a long and erotic story of what they would like to do with you? Or do you prefer a long message where they describe who they are.. or what else do you like?

What is it that makes you think wow I want to have a peek at this ladies/guys profile?

personally I am easy - a comment that shows they have actually read our profile and a compliment of some sort always gets a response if it is a humourous mail even better

Doesn't have to be lengthy... the ones that catch our attention the most are complimentary with a big dose of humour. Ones that leaves a conversation open too, and not with the dreaded question "How are you?"

For us guys telling us what they want to do to us doesn't get us going, guys that say that they're up for doing whatever we want to do are more likely to get a response.

i have to be honest if i open a message and its really long i dont even read it, i know thats bad but i just cant be arsed reading half a essay, has to be something between a one liner and war and peace before i'll read it, just the pure amount puts me off sometimes

a long and erotic story would put me right off. have met some really nice men who only sent me short messages, so it doesnt really matter that much. i like ones that sound friendly, ones that tell you a little bit about themselves and mention things they have read on your profile.dont like men if they sound too big headed or like they would be doing you a favour.

I like humour and something that indicates my profile has been read. One liners like "what are you doing today?" or "how are you?" just get deleted.

It doesn't matter how long the message is for us as long as the content interests us.

The very first meet we had was with a man who sent a sentance with about 20 words in it, it made us both laugh, we answered back and it ended up with a great first meet.

I can't put a finger on what makes me go wow

Theres 100s of thing that don't make me go wow though

I guess its just a feeling that occurs with some people and when it does I grab hold of it and explore it more

Rugby, it's happened on more than one occasion that a friend has been staying with me and both of us have received the same mail at the same time from the same guys to our separate accounts. True!

When a message shows a sense of humour and relates to my profile, even if it is just one line, I will want to find out more about who sent it. All I really want to know in an initial message is why they chose to message me.

I can't be bothered reading long biography type messages.... I get bored.

The 'what I would do to you' messages are the worst, closely followed by the ones which largely contain variations of the following statements:

"I bet you get 1000's of messages so no doubt you won't have time to read mine"... "there are so many timewasters on this site"... "unlike me"... "they spoil it for us genuine ones"... "too many people with no manners"... "reply to me even if it is a no thanks".... "you probably won't be interested anyway"... "I won't ramble on as no one replies".... "I won't disappoint"
