Verifications.....

OK forgive me if this is old ground and Mods ...delete as necessary but:

Is it me or do others find the cybersex type of verification unnecessary and a bit offputting?

My understanding is a Verification 'verifys' (hello?) that the people are who they say they are or their photos are of those people etc.

So why do people need to go off into a detailed analysis of every sexual antic?

And why do people feel the need to have them on their profiles when they receive one?

And do loads of verifications going back years put people off or not?

just look for the green tick and then avoid scrolling down beyond the pictures if they bother you that much

You're totally right with this. We feel the same. We've no inclination to publish on our profile every detail of what we've got up to on a meet. We've had a few dirty verifications and although they have made us smile we've not put them on display.

Lads of veri's kind of make me feel there's no point in messaging because they already know enough people. We keep our most recent ones on as it lets people know that we're still active and meet fairly regular. x

Verifications are a great way of finding out whether the people are into similar things as you for real and not just fantasy land.

We always like to see verifications , check who they are from and go from there !

Verifications are part of an overall picture, as is the profile and the pictures. All put together give a flavour of the personalities behind the avatar; so far not been proved wrong with the ones I met.

i like to read peoples verifications and the ones they leave for other people, to find out if they are my type. i usualy leave verifications saying what sort of a person they were, if i meet someone i might say to them what sort of thing should i say on your verification, or see what they say on mine first. only a couple of times i said what we got up to, not in a serious way though, and sometimes if you have had fun with someone and still feeling sexy, you get a thrill when you write about it on a verification.
