Exactly. A quick look at hotpics and it would take 405 fabs to get on page 1 of the overall page and just 27 to get on page 1 of men’s.
This is true. However there's about 15 times as many people that would Fab a woman's pic as there is who would Fab a guys, so it roughly balances out.

I'm on 482 ,so theoretically I'd be on the overall page one.
The point is,a little humility goes a long way
It’s fabs within 12 hours not in total.
Look I’ve been here long enough to know how things work and to get on page 1 of hotpics overall pics on the first day my account was active is quite a hard thing to achieve.
I don’t think some realise it’s over 12 hrs and not over all in weeks or days
I know exactly how it works too, my comment about humility is relevant because a "wow,I got x amount of fabs,thanks guys" is a lot better than an insinuation of "I'm hotter than anyone else here,so there"
