They use a witless teen, easily co-opted and manipulated to push an agenda and anyone who pushes back against this is "shamed" because ofc, how dare you criticise a girl with Aspergers. The notion that human activity is going to bring about a catastrophe in 10-20 years is fear mongering with a huge political agenda. "The CO2 “Climate-Emergency” story says that the trace gas CO2 (0.04% of air) is the main “control knob” of weather extremes and climate, and that Man’s CO2 – 4% of 0.04% of the atmosphere – is a major dangerous factor in this. Therefore, the story concludes, you must be taxed and controlled. To put that in perspective, imagine if the whole atmosphere is represented by a rod the height of Big Ben’s tower (316 ft); the level of CO2 in the atmosphere is about 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) on top and Man’s contribution to that CO2 is between 1 & 2 mm – a pigeon dropping – on top. Look at the Big Ben picture and think about what climate alarmists are claiming! For the CO2 narrative to be true REQUIRES: Man’s (4%) CO2 to control the rest of (96%) CO2. CO2 to be the main controller of temperature and climate. The first contention, the idea that Man’s CO2 controls the rest of natural CO2 – plant growth and decay, termite CO2/Methane production (which is significantly more in net supposed “greenhouse” effect than Man’s – and thus it is questionable as to why we have not declared war on termites), volcanoes etc etc. – is an absurd conspiracy theory of nature. There is no evidence for this madness. Do termites in the jungle increase CO2 production when you ride in a bus around your town, simply because your CO2 is human produced? Nope. " Phew. This whole climate thing, is religion for a post religion world. Be good, give money to the church, or go to hell. It's a story of fear being used to control as old as humanity. People used to worry the sky was going to fall on their heads. Societies around the globe lived in fear of eclipse. Or sacrificed virgins to appease volcanoes. King canute thought he could control the tide. Break free from your fear. See the emperor's new clothes for what they are.

Nope. Heretic Gotta listen to all sides. Do you remember the ozone layer? There were holes in it. How thick do you think it was? (Cummon there's gotta be a joke in there somewhere)" Of course! Everyone remembers being scared of the hole in the ozone layer.. ![]()

That's why they are pushing back so hard with all this disinformation and buying politicians and scientists. Do you think your tax will go up if they stop burning down the Amazon or they stop hunting whales? The Amazon creates much of its own rainfall. So if enough of it is destroyed then the rest will die on its own. Brazil president Jair Bolsonaro is a ultra-right wing fascist who got elected over a more popular opponent by putting his opponent in prison. The west supports him and he turns a blind eye to deforestation and supplies beef and minerals from the cleared jungle. Right now Indigenous Leaders and activists are being murdered in drive by shootings etc. Are people ok with that?

Shes a child being used as a PR campaign, if she really believed what she said then she would be appalled to be on the front of a printed publication. But yet she is overjoyed. The "think of the children" debate being shouted out every time someone has a problem with her, is considered one of the lowest forms of debate. I used the wrong word. Thanks for correcting me. Good point. There is certain type of person who is insecure in who they are and feel the need to find someone less well equipped to fight back, verbally or physically and use an attack on them to bolster their self image. With both Miss C and myself, if we see something (say for instance a man beating a woman) woe betide that bully. As I say, I drive a nice car and when I grow a beard it is salt and pepper. I got a van driver who after hearing me speak thought I was an old academic foreigner. He decided to start pushing me and telling me to 'go back to go back to my country' (which is exactly where I am). Presumptions can be dangerous, sometimes that foreigner is ex military and grew up playing rugby against massive Afrikaaners. To cut a long story short things didn't go the way he planned and so he went to the police and lied his backside off in a frivolous assault charge thinking I'm an immigrant with no leg to stand on. That didn't go well for him either. Like I say love taking down a bully. Hence me taking on 3 or 4 ableists in the previous thread to this for their ableist comments. That's where my autism kicks in. Winding up cyberbullies whilst simultaneously writing code ![]()
