To be honest I love it. I go to the Maldives and snorkel on my own because everyone is too afraid of sharks. Bargain. the brain donors on here would be getting d*unk on free drinks at the bar.
Debate is good but in debate there are often differing points of view. It's how we deal with those differences. If we insult just because we disagree then it can be seen as bullying.
Bullying must be terrible for people ill equipped to deal with it. I have been fighting bullies my whole life, not because I suffer from them, but because I believe it is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. But I'm old fashioned I guess.
If someone doesn't have the strength of of argument or mental process to fight a point without stooping to name calling and getting personal I'm fine with that. A because it means I've won and B while they think they are winding me up and actually writing code at the same time. I work from home, very chilled, nice music soft lighting, executive chair.... love it...Its the bullies who are weak, not the people being bullied "You're right. I used the wrong word. There is certain type of person who is insecure in who they are and feel the need to find someone less well equipped to fight back, verbally or physically and use an attack on them to bolster their self image. With both Miss C and myself, if we see something (say for instance a man beating a woman) woe betide that bully. As I say, I drive a nice car and when I grow a beard it is salt and pepper. I got a van driver who after hearing me speak thought I was an old academic foreigner. He decided to start pushing me and telling me to 'go back to go back to my country' (which is exactly where I am). Presumptions can be dangerous, sometimes that foreigner is ex military and grew up playing rugby against massive Afrikaaners. To cut a long story short things didn't go the way he planned and so he went to the police and lied his backside off in a frivolous assault charge thinking I'm an immigrant with no leg to stand on. That didn't go well for him either. Like I say love taking down a bully. Hence me taking on 3 or 4 ableists in the previous thread to this for their ableist comments. That's where my autism kicks in. Sharks are a massive part of the sub sea ecosystem and without such we would be not long at collapsing at the back of them. If we enter the sea round sharks then be prepared to be chomped, just like if you’re in Africa with Lions. Also. Sharks are known to sense and eat Ill/dying food. So if you get eaten by a shark then chances are you were riddled with some deathly disease anyway and least you contributed to the world

At a minimum, you could continue and in fact pay more tax, and lose your civil liberties for a problem that doesn't exist. As for Greta she has ruined her life. Never to go on holiday, or use anything powered by non-renewable energy, without someone taking a photo and sticking it on the front page of a paper.
