Any one esle suffered heart attack? How you deal with mental side of wanting sex and all you had before, but knowing potential stress being placed on the ticker.

Mine was no small attack, needed to be brought back from the otherside twice

Cardiac arrest and a heart attack are two different things. Neither of them sound like much fun but a heart attack is survivable, cardiac arrest not so much, unless somebody gets a defib on you within a few minutes or does good cpr until one arrives. The chances of survival reduce by 10% for every minute that passes. Sounds like you were lucky OP.

I had a heart attack about 11 weeks ago now, had to get a stent put in, it wasnt as serious as yours but my advise would be have a serious talk with your doctor about what you are into and the impact it could have on your heart

But you have the power of knowledge and foresight. Use it well

I had a full mot with a cardiologist after my dad died, he was 48, the doc told me my heart was strong as in ox and my arteries were clear at the time. His parting shot was “if it’s in your genes it’s in your genes”. I was 30 then, I’m 46 this month so the clock is ticking.

He was right, it is in your genes, but research shows that following advice about preventing your condition can improve your chances considerably. You have that knowledge to use.
