I think it's very one sided.

They say it's for safety but what about the safety of the other woman.

I had a message like this a few weeks ago, I said so can my partner be there for my safety and surprise surprise I didn't get a reply.

I would think they're being honest that is in a couple rather than portray her as a single girl and adding the guy later and there would be nothing wrong with two couples meeting like this and the guys either watching, getting together or having a beer in another room

This old one. I tried to meet two couples before and upon arrival I was told the wife had to nip out and the girlfriend was still at work but I could still come in if I fancied it.

Now, I insist on a public meet / drink with a couple before anything. I’ve since had a bloke turn up alone though and admit his wife has no idea he’s playing on here and he just wants to meet men.

I agree that at least they aren’t trying to pull a fast one by setting up a ‘single’ profile to later drop in the “I have a partner...”

The safety comment seems a little odd though

Yes I appreciate the female form same as any other red blooded male but that's about it for me.

I had the same thoughts about safety... When do two women ever become a safety issue. I've not heard of it either.

And if it was me having the female half and her man was going to come along it would set of a few alarm bells. It would be worse if he was described as a dom type in the profile and I'd feel unsafe.

Apparently it's on a few profiles but I think it's quite a bold thing to put on. I can see how showing you're a couple and do things together and make sure each other is OK works though. Not sure using the safety word is quite it though.

I had the same thoughts about safety... When do two women ever become a safety issue. I've not heard of it either.

It could be in case the "woman" they are meeting turns out not to be female at all, or turns up accompanied by a previously undisclosed guy I guess - but both those situations are easily avoided with a quick phone/video call and asking the right questions.

With regards to safety this a paramount for both parties and we would never entertain just randomly meeting someone and going for it !

Safety is a very broad term and can be interpreted differently, for us it's so Lou know that's if the person she's with goes outside the boundaries then she has the reassurance I'm there to say something and likewise so does her play mate as we always discuss what's acceptable and is not.

I can fully understand that some people have reservations and sceptical but if you meet socially first as an adult you can make your own informed and intelligent decisions and make your mind if they are genuine and they will respect your boundaries and like wise for us we respect theirs if it doesn't feel right then it's not right !

I can only speak from our own experiences and we've said "thanks but no thanks" a few times I'm sure there are plenty of people on here with horrible stories of what they've experienced

As with most things in life communication and a little understanding go a long way

And we totally get that and I think it's fantastic when people have a clear understanding of what they want and can be open and honest about it x what works for one person may not work for another and that's what makes life interesting that we are all different x

(Ray) cannot speak for other as we've not experienced that but that's not our reason but could imagine that's a possibility
