"If you don't vote then don't ever complain about your taxes, the roads, trains, pollution, the NHS, etc, etc. I know that in this election the choices look pretty shit, but sometimes you have to hold your nose and take the least worst option. Personally I'm voting to get the tories out, but if you don't want that or any of the big parties then vote Green. They're not going to win but every vote they get sends a message to the other parties that they have to go green in their policies." where in the law does it explain if you dont vote you lose rights to live as you wish daftest arument ever award goes to

If we had proportional representation I would definitely vote Green. However, my vote today was more a case of "I do not want the Tories to stay in power".

"My hand is up! But... not a clue who to vote for. Steering clear of Labour or any party that has pledged to go into coalition with them. I want to stay in Europe but recognise that the country doesn't (didn't?). So, I feel I should vote conservative as they will follow through with BREXIT (what the country wants/wanted) but I don't like the BREXIT deal that's on the table. Will probably end up voting for the Raving Monster Luny Party or another independent but, that's a wasted vote... Bugger!" get your hand down voterer

The country??? 37% of the electorate voted leave in a referendum that where the electorate were bombarded with lies, social media manipulation, Russian interference and 57 varieties of Brexit. Why won't the tories release the Russian report? Why are they trying to rush through a deal without proper analysis? If you vote tory you are voting for a known liar.

" Every couple of years they send out forms with the electoral register information for that house on it, if it’s no change you just sign it send it back in pre paid envelope, that’s what I’ve always done. Oh and I tick the box that keeps your details of the public register, my junk mail has reduced considerably since someone told me about doing this.

You have a local mp who you could approach on issues that concern you if you wanted to. I do understand how you feel though, I think many of us feel that we're not represented at all. I just don't agree that not using one of the main ways of getting our voice heard is the way forward.
