Poop mining

No not a strange fetish. Apparently there is loads of gold and precious metals ìn our sewage, comparable to commercial mining. I did not know this, have no idea how it will benefit me, but, useless fact of the day for you.

If you can develop a way to recycle the gold and other precious metals out of it in an economic way then you will be very very rich.

The trouble is the size of the particles.

It's the same with the sea, there is more gold in tiny particles in the sea than has ever been dug out of the ground. It is just that the concentration is very low and the current extraction techniques very expensive.

The scientist in me liked the challenge of coming up with a technique for the mining but so far I haven't had any eureka moment
