Love sprouts. Much prefer fresh ones when they're in season but happily have them with any suitable meal

Depends what happens after brexit, Brussels might withhold them from us leaving us to source them from newly set up Brussel sprout dealers in sordid basement sprout dens or dark alleys

Now I'm a bit of a weirdo (no comment) but absolutely love them on Xmas day or Sunday roast but not so they're reduced to slush eeuurrggh !

I'm a sprouts with olive oil, garlic butter, grated Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and bacon croutons kind of guy.

Yep - all these people going "ewwww" are clearly overcooking them. They are, admittedly, foul if you boil them into soggy little bags of pale green fart juice.

Just sauté 'em in a little olive oil or butter for a few minutes, maybe with some garlic. Throw in some bacon or pancetta and finish with loads of black pepper. Awesome stuff.

_layfullsam - I've never thought about adding parmesan. That sounds amazing. I'll be trying that!

I love them. Pretty much every other meal this time of year includes them for me.

Roast with bacon jerky and parmesan last night.

Might add them to a stir fry tonight.

I even had them dipped in chocolate one year (not a great success I'll admit).

I have a better recipe for them . Retrieve from freezer , open bag , and throw them at unsuspecting Carol singers. If there is any left , then feed them to next doors cat so they have to put up with sprouty cat farts all day. If there is still any left , burn them !!
