You will find it is a personal experience. It works for me, but not for a friend if mine... you need to be invested to make it work

Yes it's been a game changer.

It takes a lot of commitment and practice but definitely worth it.

Just so we may have a unified idea what this means

From a website called mindfulness

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful. And there’s growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful,

Iv been practising this for decades . I found understanding the taoist approach and philosophy to be insightful

I find it one of a number of strategies that when combined lead to a positive personal life path

If you find mindfulness meditation hard try some yoga breathing techniques first so when you go back to mindfulness your mind won't wander as much.

biofeedback is also good and works quicker to get control of your autonomic nervous system.

Very painful, I believe.

Mindfulness... without losing sight of the past and future it is helpful, I feel. If we live in the past or dwell overly on the future we risk losing the wonder of now. We've become goal-obsessed, I fear and when we pursue an endless succession of targets and objectives we become slaves to them. Have a destination in mind but don't forget to enjoy the ride...

Tbh I don't practice mindfulness and it would depend on the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. I listened to a combination of books which helped me by being aware of the connections between different behaviours and where they stem from in an evolutionary point of view. Brain fog is something I suffer with and I'm listening to a book called unlimited memory it's great. Audible was the best thing I did I'd be happy to list a few if anyone is interested x
