This year, for the most part, has been an absolute disaster. So next year I'm going to make sure I enjoy it

I've got weekends in Amsterdam and Benidorm booked. Looking at my first concert and festival.

Any other mini adventures you can recommend?

How about some more extreme experiences, like skydiving or something outdoorsy, hiking trip for a day.. Learning new skill could be an adventure too.

I love Scotland. I might go Newcastle, up east coast over a few days and go to edinburgh for a weekend.

Northumberland coast is amazing. Lots of great places to see - farne islands, lindsifarne, plus the many castles.
