Does anyone else have a thing for women who lift weights? Not necessarily bodybuilders, but toned with definition. In the celeb world, it would be someone like Gemma Atkinson

There are some women at the gym I go to with incredible bodies, usually wearing all that tight 'Gymshark' kit too, it's a constant battle with my eyeballs not to look

Some do, some of us are just there to lift and find any watching irritating.

This - there’s a fine line between watching with interest at weight/technique etc and being a predatory pervert

Oh I agree entirely. I don’t stand and stare as I’ve seen others do, far from it.

I find most guys aren't as subtle as they think they are.

That's why I'm always battling the ol' eyeballs, I spend half my workout looking up at the ceiling or out of the window to make sure I don't look like some pervert

I’ve no doubts, which is why I always look away. The gym I go to has loads of girls saying that they hate mainstream gyms for just that reason

I often find myself feeling pretty misanthropic when I'm lifting. The guys look at me like I shouldn't be there then gawp at me when I get to work. Ffs!

Yeah it’s some straight up bullshit. I know lots of blokes don’t even like how toxic and horrible it makes them feel. Must be x10 for women

I don't mind a glance or when they are clearly embarrassed and look away when you catch them looking. It's the ones who totally stop their own workout and just stare that give me the creeps.

I love women who lift, strong, lean, muscled, flat/6pack abs, awesome!

But I’d never go ogling in the gym, that’s just flat out creepy.

Two dodgy types of guy in the gym, the creeps and the insecure meatheads throwing dumbbells around, dropping weights on the floor and generally acting aggressively because they think they’re asserting their masculinity lol

Then there’s the stinkers of course lol

So what is everyone lifting?

Mine are 120kh squat, 62.5kg bench and 120kg deadlift (trap bar) or 70kg deadlift (barbell).

I'm really enjoying the lifting and might look at entering comps soon. Just need to workout some good sessions to improve.
