So, it's the end of the world as we know it. There's no power... no tech, elec, no running water,no petrol or diesel. You're in a hectic scramble to leave your house. What can you not live without? What do you think will be crucial to your survival? What do you grab on your way out the door?

Okehampton

Why am I leaving my house? Theres nobody near here for miles, the log shed is full, I have a well. The chickens look worried, I have candles and a few cases of wine.

Nah I'm good.

But If I was to leave, it would be a compass, hate not knowing where I am going.

It depends if it is the end of the world or just our civilisation. And how long is left. If it's our civilisation, there's strength in numbers - so need to team up and just hope that we don't all head for each other and stay solitary.

Water purification material, gun, lube

My kids! And maybe my mum if she gets a wiggle on. The dog would have run off at the first sign of trouble.

On a mooch

I wouldn’t be leaving the house for a start. But would pack a bag of useful things if need to make a quick dash.... torch, all batteries, knife, fill bottles with water left in the pipes, candles/lighters/matches and any tinned goods I can carry, plus a photo of the family and passport

I keep a knife, a first aid kit, a map and a r.ape whistle in a drawer in my house for such an eventuality, I'd probably lift that shit plus a lighter and the Brandy
