Southport / Ellesmere Port

Following yesterday's thread on the Beatles favourite songs I can reveal that the favourite Fab 4 songs by Fabsters were as follows:

1. Something

2. A day in the life

3. Blackbird: and also Eleanor Rigby

55 separate songs were picked which just highlights the strength of the band.

Kind of ironic that the most popular was not a Lennon / McCartney composition

Newcastle and Gateshead

now i am glad you have put this thread up.... i found it this morning and i have a few "grumpy old man" issues i need to get off my chest!!!

strap in.... get comfy!!!!

1).... 175 posts.... no one said "here, there and everywhere"...

2) someone mentioned "yellow submarine".... those two words can never be mentioned together!!!!

3) i am disappointed that one of my "besties" (i shall be having words with her later") mockingly mentioned chas and dave!! i am glad they were defended to the hilt.... by my feeling were hurt!

4) did i mention that no one mentioned here there or everywhere... that voids all the results.... sure, blackbird i agree would be a worth 2nd... even eleanor rigby or day in the life!

....... need a breath.... i'll be back!!!

Surprised 'I Am The Walrus' didn't make the top three

Yep, I'm surprised that song wasn't mentioned.
