They stopped being associated with certain cultures only or as

evidence of carrying a criminal past or whatever other stereotype springs to mind.

I don't care whether they are considered 'normal'. There is a beautiful art out there on some humans skin.

They're certainly not a taboo, haven't been for a long time.

Tattoos are definitely more common than uninked skin.

I'm all in favour of self expression in whatever form anyone wants.

Personally, it feels like my old school no tattoos one piercing in each earlobe thing is becoming strange! I'm even told off for it occasionally. But it's my choice, and I expect the same respect for my choices as I offer to everyone else.

Taboo ? In this day and age most people probably have been inked.

I remember years ago it was usually just Skinheads, bikers, punks etc who were heavily tattooed. Now you see all walks of life from doctors, school teachers, lawyers etc with them

I find women with sleeve tattoos to be materialistic and aggressive. That’s just from personal experience.

I like tattoos but not so keen on the face ones that are popular at the moment. At least they'll keep the laser removal folks busy in years to come

Tattoos are definitely the norm these days.

Being non inked is more individual and non conformist.
