I'm struggling to do this as I'm not one to copy or remember threads. Tricky categories!

I've just voted for this as funniest thread and possibly also outstanding thread of the year, it's hilarious and every man on fab should read it

Blimey, outing people on the forum as fake is against rules and many were doing it. It was obviously missed by mods so it has now been removed, you might want to pick another instead

I'm trying to remember the name of chillout's thread about a right wing utopia that was a spin off from Ghengis' left wing utopia. That one tickled me.

Hang on one moment, too much thinking for several posters to name one thread in each category? Whereas I pop on and name a fistful of the buggers??

You obviously have a good memory or read more than us and all your hinting, although ever so helpful, could sway the votes

It's merely tantamount to a pundit giving the once over competitors at any sporting event? And just my meandering opinions which may or may not be the case...

And here we are...

My first nonsensical musings for today!

Best forum game of the year;

Has to be the PM game surely? Any game that can spawn a hundred threads within about a week is stiff competition for the others? The premise is simple; message someone declaring themselves in on the thread with a question, they're then honour bound to give a genuine answer? The beauty of it being that they can't reveal the questioner's identity nor the question asked...And anonymity guarantees some very strange and probing questions that otherwise may never have been asked, in some circumstances!

I'd put an example here, but for one it's hard to single one from hundreds out, for two anyone who can't be arsed typing "PM game" into the forum search box is truly bone idle and for three anyone who is unaware of the existence of ANY of these threads must have spent a large part of last year living on the moon. Or at the very least have not been on the forums much.

Other threads worthy of a mention of course are the Secret Service threads started by Rubi and Polly, recently magnanimously taken over by Nora.

Deliberately NOT to be included are the numerous "Fuck,pint or pass" threads or others of that ilk. They may be many in number, but this is entirely down to they being half populated by blokes who don't visit another thread whatsoever, posting in a lazy way to get some, any type of attention.

Funniest thread of the year;

IMHO the funniest thread of the year has been deleted today by Ruggers, for such is the custom on Fab. However, OTHER chucklesome threads of note include this one-

https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/860579

It seemed innocent enough. Pull My Finger posted a few forum orgy threads in his time and also under other reinventions of himself. They usually filled up fairly well, everyone piling in to discuss filthy goings on purely in the name of fun..;)

But this one came with a difference as he happened to post it during the week long stay of Beefy Length in the forums? Beefy spotted it, slapped a ludicrous post on about 20% of the way down and from here on in the entire thread descended into complete confusion and mayhem, PMF himself and Beefy being the main culprits, but with many regular posters at the time, including but by no means all, Nora (previous profile) Prubamme, Cheeky69 and both P and myself getting involved in the utterly insane nonsense...

Other notable threads off the top of my head include-

fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/877648

Mentioned by Lisa Belle further up this thread too, I chanced across reading this one last night for the first time and it had me howling! Some top tips for managing the expectations of a new member and worth inclusion for the OP alone...

And of course the numerous "Advice Line" threads started by my adorable wench which usually fill up quickly for a reason? 99% of the advice doled out within to be taken with a council writer's worth of salt...

Here's one example;

Happy voting!

Humiliating another forum poster is never funny and breaking forum rules is not allowed so why some things get removed.

And...the final thoughts on the last two categories! Not as funny, but then with those categories I'd wager that humour isn't the aim?

And now for the last two categories;

In reverse order as Best Overall Thread is entirely subjective, depending upon what you may most like to read in the forums?

You may like to be entertained more than anything, in which case check the listings for Funniest thread? You may use the forums to pass time with being light-hearted yet interactive, in which case forum games are the way forward?

Or you may prefer a thread that provokes thought and can educate or at the very least open up possibilities in your head that you simply weren't aware of before?

More on that below...

Now for the most thought-provoking award...

Regular forumites will be only too familiar with several threads that Princess Peach has done that can motivate, cheer up, embolden or warn others of dangers through her own experience. This one "a shout out to those of you" from 6 weeks ago jumps out to me, as it was sudden, unpredicted and nothing major had happened in her life to inspire it yet she felt the need to post it anyway. The amount of people it cheered up was phenomenal (although seeing the amount of mail and it's content that came into our couples mailbox on the back of it made me realise how much)

https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/941674

Other than that I also found this thread from Juicy Ass, not a huge topic, but one that brings it home to you how much things have actually changed over the years...

https://m.fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/921689

I'm sure you guys can find plenty more! Enjoy the final vote....B

Both those threads were deadly serious I'll have you know.

Well.. would be if Chillout and I were in charge of each side, only the Lefties sabotaged my dreams and I had to bow out due to endless Debates and Democracy. Bloody Lefties!

Sorry!! I was a bit too preoccupied with my shenanigans with Estella in no man's land anyway...
