I’m off to paint my 72 year old depressed uncles living room today. He doesn’t know yet. If he starts to moan I’m gonna paint him.

If you do come across one they should be the size and weight of a grapefruit, less than this and they may not survive the winter. I later found out the weight should be 500g, this little chap was 215g.

That would be a shame as it's intended to be educational.

Start a petition to keep this pic up . I applaud you sir , kids should be taught about this stuff more in school rather than Pythagoras bollocks

Completely, we risk losing sight of what's really important. The natural world is a subject close to my heart.

Nice one o/p! I put usual food out for the birds despite being late for a meeting and the rain.

So now you know what weight they need to be in winter and that dogs are a menace to them so always be aware of what your dogs are doing when you're out walking them.

Also, most of you probably know that hedgehogs are lactose intolerant (you'd be surprised how many still don't) so the traditional bread and milk is a big no no. They're carnivores so if you want to feed them they're particularly partial to cat food.
