Earthquake in the South West!

Did anyone feel the earthquake last night?

It woke me up from a deep sleep just before 11pm.

I thought an intruder was in the house!

I didn't know it was an actual earthquake until a work colleague mentioned it this morning!

I then went online and found it was measured at 3.5 on the Richter scale and was felt in Bridgwater, Yeovil, Taunton and the surrounding areas!

Did you feel the earth move ( and before the thread becomes littered with ... did the earth move for you jokes! Lol...) I do mean the actual earthquake!

My Own Little World

We get about 200 quakes in the UK every year, most are too small to be noticed.

The one I do remember was 2008 in Lincolnshire, it was a 5.2. You could hear it coming before it hit, sounded like a load of heavy lorries driving up the road.
