What will you do for someone as an act of kindness during this difficult time for many people.

It would be nice to hear some good deeds and restore my faith in the human race xx

I try and pay it forward whenever I can. I'm lucky to have had opportunities because someone took a chance on me and then later someone else showed me a great kindness.

Right now I'm donating to different charities every time I buy something for myself.

I'll return to giving individuals a leg up in January.

That’s amazing to hear well done a d hope it goes really well for you.

I’m about to sell some items and put the money I raise towards items for the homeless at Christmas.

I donate to the local food bank regularly but at this time of year I add a few festive extras. I also buy gloves and give them to big issue sellers.

i contribute to the big issue but i also give food and coffee too, i saw a woman an older woman sitting in a station entrance just as i was about to go in a pub and waste money gave her a tenner, this is a major problem in this country and getting worse.

I pay for the coffee for the person behind at drive thru. This isnt a seasonal thing, I just do it.

I also pay for groceries for a couple of people this time of year. I look for that haggled parent with kids and a full grocery cart. You know the money can be used elsewhere when someone has a cart full of store brand products since they are cheaper.

And I take my dog out to see seniors around the holidays more. Shes trained for that. And not many people think of them, they just want to watch TV with someone or play cards.

I’ve been picking up a few extra pressies when I’ve been out Christmas shopping to donate to Cash for Kids for the little ones in poverty who’ll wake up with nothing on Christmas morning. It’s not much but hopefully it makes some little faces smile...

Saw a homeless guy outside a Tesco express the other day. Poor bloke looked cold, so I bought him a coffee.

I hope he managed to find somewhere to stay that night

I work in Childcare. Had a long conversation with one of my Mum's the other night, stressed to the max (not going into details)

Got me thinking about her and what I can do.

So going to put together little care packs, containing face masks, chocolate, cappucino sachets and other little bits and bobs and going to hand them out to my Mums with the hope that they take a few minutes breathing space.

Also going to go shopping for the foodbank and buy Christmas foods as well as clear out the toy stash at work which I usually take to the refuge or to the local Children's hospice.

When my boys were small I always got them to sort out their toys and things ready for Christmas and take them to the Children who didn't have much.

They both loved doing this and used to love coming with me.

My eldest carries this on and always buys a load of colouring books and pens to take up.

My youngest has started supporting a homeless charity in Edinburgh after seeing teens on the streets.

So proud I raised my boys to be kind and empathetic of others

Myself and my staff have all agreed to donate our tips for the last couple of weeks to the village food bank, we are going to do a big food shop this weekend and drop it off in plenty of time for them to dish it out before christmas.

I will be doing Christmas dinner with my family and quite a few elderly who dont have families, it's our third year of doing it and it's becoming more and more busy each year!

I also pay it forward every April for a reason I wont go into.

We should all do our bit xx

I do as much as I can but probably not enough. Waitrose hand out lists of food needed for the Food Bank so I give to that most weeks and I buy all the Xmas raffle tickets for Dogs Trust and Guide Dogs. I'll also buy sandwiches and coffee for the homeless.

I've done a few tech repairs to save people money. Some companies do try it on knowing their customers are not technically savvy. I am hosting Christmas day for parents and brothers families.

I wholeheartedly disagree. I know people take inspiration and ideas from what others do. Keep it quiet if you want but don't knock people for sharing what they do.

I picked up details for KidsOut “Giving Tree” from work today. This means buying a present for a child who is unlikely to receive any gift at Christmas. So I will be spending tomorrow looking for a gift for a 6 year old girl. Help!!

Florist gave me some flowers to congratulate me on selling my house today.

Loved them, but took them to the taxi office to give to the girls, because they are so sweet to me, and have looked out for me.

Down to 76p today, so I really enjoyed my celebratory Nero coffee as I had a full loyalty card.

On the way home, offered a homeless guy I know a week on my sofa, washing, bath etc. He declined, but he's got my garage to hide away in out of the weather.

Ive just loaned my bicycle to a guy i met on a bus only a week ago, so he can get to work before the buses start running ona saturday. Its his forst week back after being poorly for a couple of months, his car is off the road and he wants to do overtime as hes busy trying to earn some dosh before christmas . It’s not so much what I did, but an example of what made me smile. My lil one was only in nursery school when we saw a homeless man, she said he looks cold so we gave him the change from my purse for a coffee. Not long after we saw another homeless man, but I had no cash, she was upset, pointed out I had my card, so we went to subway, bought him some food and a hot chocolate and took it back to him. That makes me proud, that seeing me give to the homeless, knowing her grandmother volunteers for a homeless charity, has shaped her. She still gives to the homeless, and regularly sorts her toys and clothing for charity shops, so when I take things, she does too. She’s now in primary school, chose the homeless as the topic for her social awareness poster, and educates her peers about disability (her big sister is autistic) so that’s what I’m proud of, instilling a social conscience into my children, and watching the next generation pay it forward x

I made brownies for someone on a forum and posted them to her. (She asked if someone would make them because she's crap at baking)

She didn't pick them up from the post office and they came back to me three weeks later.

When I sent a message to her she said she'd forgotten about them

Thank you. The homeless shelters are crying out for clothing, shoes and bedding. Clothing for slim guys in particular. Saddens me when so many young lads buy clothing as often as they do and then just bin them.

Recently seen posts on social media about people anonymously leaving coats for others if they need them, love that idea. Need to find where they do that as I’ve more than I need xx

Mine was gas company, could not decide where the leak was. 3 gas safe engineers said it was not within my property. It was before my gas meter so their fault. But I was left 9 days! £ 80 compensation.

We have Wrap Up London down here but your local Crisis or Shelter is likely to collect them for Crisis at Christmas and cold weather shelters.

Thank you. I am proud of them. My mum taught me and I’ve taught them, hopefully my lil one will go on to teach her children. It’s all we can do, hope we make a difference xx

I bought and gave out ten meal deals to random homeless people on my way to the station in Brighton on Wednesday.

I know it's not enough. It's all I could think of at the time that would make any kind of difference to people who were cold and used to being ignored.

We’re doing a reverse advent calendar. We started the last week in Nov_mber so we can hand it over the week before Christmas.

Every day my daughter and I put an item each in the box - food, a small gift or clothes.

At the end we’ll give it to the local St Vincent De Paul.

I buy 2 cups of coffee, one for me and the other leave on tap.

It's a scheme in my local cafe, where a homeless person can get a free ( on tap ) hot drink.

If anything like my lil one and her friends, it’s all about unicorns! Home Bargains have some fab stuff at the mo- colour in pencil cases, note books, craft stuff xx
