Cheddar...

I'm a cheddarholic. Nibbling the old Tickler tonight. What's the strongest, cheesiest, munchiest?

(No knob jokes please).

Must it be cheddar?

The cheesiest cheese I buy is petit munster. It's a slightly softer cheese with a massive smell to it. It's lovely.

If it must be cheddar then Montgomery cheddar is lovely, as is Wookey Hole. Montgomery is slightly stronger but is unpasteurized where Wookey Hole is pasteurized.

Mitchelstown real Irish cheddar ya cant beat it. Firm when it needs to be yet soft and creamy when you toast it. Yummmmm

Anything extra mature so you can see the salt crystals in it. Love strong cheddar.
