Okay so tomorrow I'm meeting a lady that is basically my ideal woman if I had to describe what I wanted. And I'm shitting myself haha. I don't normally get nervous.

Any pre meet advice? How did you get over your pre meet nerves?

Being nervous means it's important to you. It's a good thing and helps you for the day.

Whenever I do public speaking, if I'm nervous before, it goes well, if I'm not nervous, I fuck it up.

We all get nervous, even when we already know the person. It's all normal. Take a look in the mirror and say to yourself "she wants to meet me and I'm looking good". Smile, be happy. I wish it was me

Nerves are perfectly normal and part of the ‘buzz’ for us . If you’re not nervous or emotionless it’s the time to give up in our book . Just be yourself , you’ve done something right in the first place by arranging to meet up !

Nervousness and excitement are part of the same thing, our mind and body's response - the key difference is our own interpretation. We can reinterpret nervousness as excitement, as a good start.

Anything that builds relaxation is calming, so I'd pick what works for me. I do some exercise when I'm very excited or nervous, as it works my body and the chemicals in it to good purpose. A short walk, run or gym workout is fine.

Breathing is the instant key to change my state of mind. Slow breaths, exhale twice as long as inhaling.

And the other absolute winner is to pick wisely what I focus on. Pick positive things that will enhance your confidence etc

Hi there what kind of location are you meeting at and have you discussed on here what you are both looking for ?. Are you both meeting for a drink then heading off and to meet again or you thinking you might go somewhere if you both get along well and maybe something come of your meet up ?.
