I heard in the news today that a historic 19th century cannon has been returned to its Lincolnshire Wolds home more than 30 years after it was originally stolen.

The thief returned the relic with a note of apology and and an offer of a Donation in Cash.

It is believed the perpetrator of this crime is somewhat of a Rough Diamond.

A pre-Xmas story of Rough Diamonds and Lincolnshire Wolds relics...

A slight diversion from Brexit I suppose? Absofuckinglutely!

Indeed, we saw this on the local news. Interestingly, it appears the cannon has been fired regularly since it went missing. Only trouble is, there's no sign of its twin.

Yes, they used to stand either side of the door, but were both stolen same night.

At least one has been returned though.
