Is it just me or do others get a couple of lines from a long forgotten and often never liked song in your brain, you can hear it, and it has the annoying habit of running round and round with just the little fragment you remember and won't stop until you can remember the next line....

Thats when I thank the universe for youtube, find it, play it get the next line and it lets you move on... but what did we used to do?

I have a quite a good memory for songs. I think in the past though there were far less songs recorded so less to remember.
