Durham

According to a new study released today, Hexham is the best place to live in the UK.

It's good to be a northener

Would you rate your town/city/village the best?

South Wales

Not my town as it’s a bit of a shit hole, but the sureounding areas are gorgeous, sea, forestry walks, nature reserves.

Liverpool

I love where I live. The estate I live on is fairly quiet but I'm right by the city centre. Night life is amazing and there's so much history and things to see and do x

I love living near Cardiff. A short drive to the few beachs and some amazing counrtyside. Then near to the city centre too for all the shops and nightlife . Win win

I'm pretty settled here. Surrounded by countryside, a good choice of nice places to eat relatively local, not long to get in to London, yeah that's pretty good as far as I'm concerned

I love the beach, I walk the dogs there daily. The people here can be tricky but, I mainly ignore them.

Love where I live now but not overly impressed with many of the people who live in it. Lived in West Yorkshire and hated the town but the people were really nice. Guess I'm not easily pleased

Southport / Ellesmere Port

Well Morrissey once described Southport in a song as "a seaside town that they forgot to close down" and where "everyday is like Sunday" - he wasn't far wrong!

But, actually, it's quite nice here x

Hell no, where I live is awful, but I will say there’s a lot of amazing community projects, parks and support services..

But living in the middle is good access to most places..

I think living away from a big city and to be in a village would be cool

I really love Belfast and would love to move somewhere warm. The language barrier could be a pain though so I think if I had to I would swap living in ireland for the English coast. Maybe Whitby

It’s quite nice here in the Cotswolds but for me I’d rather be home in Northumberland - it doesn’t surprise me that Hexam is a des-res and nicest to live in. I’d happily live there
