Long distance meets

I get a lot of messages from people that are a long distance away and I'm just wondering how far would you travel for a meet and do you expect to be accommodated overnight? Also would you class it as a waste of time if sex wasn't involved?

I would happily tra el to England to meet some of you for a social, no sex expected, and be happy to pay for a hotel. I dont think any distance is out of the question if the 2 of you really want to meet.

I have plans to travel next year. I wouldn't expect to be accommodated at a first meet because what if the chemistry just isn't there in person?

Plan would be to get a hotel room with no expectations but a certain amount of hope.

Distance is never a consideration for us if you hit it off is the main thing xxx

I think most probably 1 hour to 2 hours maximum of travelling. But there is that thing called chemistry first. if that is not there there is really no point

And sarcasm is a sure winner for me and a great gift to mankind

Not far, there are lots of lovely folks nearby so I don't have to. Plus I don't have the time to be travelling too far from home. If someone wants to come to me though, that's fine

Travelled as far Leicester.

If no sex was involved then yeah it would be disappointing but that's just the way it is.

If both dont click then it's pointless going further and no point kicking off about it.

I’d travel a good distance and just stay over if the connection was mutual, I’d definitely still chat even if sex wasn’t a possibility it’s nice just to be nice but that’s just how I am as a person

We put in as many miles as we can for the right people or social! Travelling is part of the fun, stops along the way for quick socials and catch ups! Gotta love a road trip!

Provided I can find the time and opportunity I’ll travel to meet people I really like already. I wouldn’t go far for someone I’ve only just started to get to know. I’d take my time getting to know them better before I do.

Most of my good friends are spread all over the country. Lots have travelled to me for the day or I’ve put them up. I’m just as happy to catch up with friends in a non sexual way so would do the same when I do eventually get my backside out to another city x

Distance isn’t a problem for us as travel (In the UK at least) doesn’t cost us anything and we both enjoy the adventure of a road-trip. We wouldn’t expect (or accept) being accommodated either.

We would happily travel a fsir distance. Driving doesn't bother us and we would book a hotel and enjoy the break away.

We would prefer a sexy meet but ee wouldn't be too dissappointed if it didn't happen. As long as we had a good time doing whatever.

Manchester (he/him)

I've travelled for meets, Ive had long distance relationships and I'd do the same again. To me, it's about the person, not the distance.

There and to the left a bit

From where I live 2-3 hours each way if the other person is willing to do similar means that most of England and Wales came be covered - have done that kind of journey before too

No more than 30 minutes travel and that would be half way. They would travel the same. First meet only a social and I don't ever sleep over.

I’ve had a few long distance meets over the years. Always made sure I had a shower when I arrived. No one wants sweaty balls from the journey. Even had some join me in the shower

I have and would travel.

I visited a fwb in Brighton in the summer .. we knew eachother though, knew it would be a good few days and I visited friends on the way back. Bloody miles that was though.

For a first meet I popped my tent and some dry wood in the back of the car just in case.

I was so glad I did too .. had a gorgeous time to myself under the stars.

Win win .. an adventure is an adventure.

I'm pretty resourceful though.. I imagine this wouldn't work for everyone!

Near Wells

I travel a lot for work. Nowadays I don't travel too far for meetings maybe 20-30 miles.

I used to travel for miles but after a couple of disappointing meetings I lost the will.

I still visit clubs in London, Blackpool, both 3 hour journeys and Birmingham which is 2 hours away.

Hiding in the shadows

I'm happy to travel, & often do, to see some of my favourite people.

But they are people I've encountered through the forums, then chatted to at length, or met at group socials, events.

I got to know them very well first before arranging to meet up.

I do find messages from random strangers, hundreds of miles away odd though.

Standard message "Wow, you're gorgeous, hot, stunning. What you doing tonight, tomorrow, this weekend? I'd love to meet you"

As much as I enjoy a road trip, I'm not about to leap into my car & drive 4hrs for someone I don't know

Distance is easily overcome if the connection/chemistry is there, whether it be as a friendly meet or more, accommodation isn't expected but what ifs can be discussed before hand so necessary preperations can be made.
