Fabsteroos

I’ve been given a Xmas present from a work colleague, it’s beautifully wrapped up and I’ve the urge to open it.

Is that wrong?

I’ve left it at work to stop myself from opening it.

What should I do?

Ah yes. I believe the correct name for this is Schrödinger's Present

It's way too early to give gifts, it's just cruel expecting you to wait 21 days to open it.

Just undo a little bit of the wrapping and have a peek.

I don't open mine until Christmas day no matter when they're given.

But.....now I'm single I open birthday gifts when they're given as it's no fun opening them on your own!

Oh open it. You need to see what it is so you have an idea what to get them

It was given early as my colleague has a very sick relative just in case anything happens with them.....but I agree it’s too early and cruel lol.

If you open it the only person you will disappoint is yourself. Said in the stern voice of my mother.

Just open it! I opened one from a friend on Saturday

The answer lies with what you want to do and whether your conscience can cope if you do chose to open it.

Get someone else to open it, and then you can play charades to guess what it is!

Resist the temptation. Anticipating what's in it can be good.
