Only public pics can be used as profile pics now. When did that change? Has there already been a million threads about it and I missed it?

Noticed that the other day. You can change them back to private after you've put them as your profile pic to get around it....

Was it supposed to be a public pic?

There was a 'glitch' a couple of weeks ago and some people said their friends only pics were suddenly public. Including face pics.
