Maybe. Even good ole Ebenezer learned to love it after some spooky interventions.

No you're not and there's nothing wrong with disliking it. Quite a few people do on the forum and that's okay.

Hats is rather strong? I loved it when the kids were young and of course lovely memories from my childhood .

These days - the lengthy build up, the forced bonhomie is all rather tedious.

No, it's shite, the forced joy, the forced commercialism, those pricks who clog up the pub on their one trip out per year. The fucking music.

I hate Christmas, it brings back some of the worst childhood trauma I have, but I have kids, and not only that everything christmasy I do is a win against the abusive people who robbed me of the joy of Christmas, so when you see a on one of my posts, just know it's the santa of revenge

"Am I the only one"

I'm not a fan at all but its more the build up,fuss and the fact people shove xmas down your throat at every opportunity that I dislike. Now halloween is a tine I enjoy!!!

Nope not a fan, I’m happy enough on the day but with it becoming a 3 month thing over the last few years I have very little time for it now.

I don't hate it but don't enjoy it as much since my dad died a few years ago, plus I sometimes pine over an ex from years ago at Xmas as we spent the best one I've had together way back in 2007 and it always reminds me of how happy I was then. I'll make the effort as always though!

Got no one to spend it with.

I'm ok with that.

Don't dislike it, i almost enjoy it; but for me it starts on the 13th December, not mid July like the retailer's would have us believe ??

"Am I the only one"

You are not alone.

It's an awful time of the year. Unhealthy pressure to get in to debt, Loneliness, sadness, greed etc the list goes on.

Most people these days have forgotten that it's a Christian religious tradition and I for one do not go to church. It's turned into a commercial farce

With a cracking view

I'm not 'Bah Humbug' about it, I just don't do it ...

Last year, the TV ads started in full swing the day after Remembrance Sunday. this year it was the start of November !

I know I'm showing my age about this, but it should all start only when Blue Peter start lighting their Advent Crown !

Probably stopped doing that eons ago !
