Some help and advice please.

Always use my real mobile for contact and now wondering if we should get a swinging phone.

0ne stupid guy from Bath off this site decided to text me a smiley face at 4.00am ffs.

So at 9.00am i sent a txt and said i did not appreciate him txting. Reply from him "some people have no sense of humour".

I have blocked him on fab as he was a pain and all was quiet now he's decided to start texting at strange hours.

They so spoil it for the decent guys on here.

Have two fones...one for family and friends, it's one I use a lot for work stuff too......and another one for fun....It saves a lot of unwanted hassle when I am with my folks, working etc....lol

Definately get a spare phone. if the worst comes to the worst, it's a simple matter of throwing the sim card into the bin and get a new one. New sim card = new phone number - problem solved and no impact on your proper phone number

I guess it all comes down to the risk we take when we give out our numbers. Most of us on this site don't know each other from adam and who's to say who's going to be a pain in the ass or not. As a single guy myself I have chosen to put my mobile number on my profile, primarily as an additional method of contact. It's the risk you take isn't it? Going back to the op about ringing or texting at odd times, its just common courtesy not to call or text at silly o clock isn't it? Sadly some people don't consider that.

Thanks guys

I know hes a right idiot but at 4.00am when you are sound asleep you can well do without it.

Never had problems before in the time that we have been swinging.

Its the fact hes sending sarky messages now that really hacks me off.

Moral of the story if he comes from Bath dont go there!!!!!!!!

we deffo keep a swing phone, easy to switch off and if we get the unwanted calls easy to change sim without affecting our normal mobile numbers...

if ur not to bothered about the police knowing you can report him as a nuisance caller, it would be dealt with, it all depends how comfortable you would be telling the police ALL the details.

O o O oo

As others have said, block the number if you can or report it to your phone provider and they will deal with it. No police have to be involved.

Try what others do and have a seperate sim card for playing, that way you can switch the phone off and on to suit.

I am going to shut this thread now as the man you are talking about is a member too.
