Yes because I like hearing people talk. It would also mean I can hear and understand the tone of their posts far more easily.

I always feel awkward when talking on the phone/to a camera. Less so in person. But I agree, voices would allow for tone to come through much better.

With that said text form often (not always) allows for more thought and better wording to also come across, speaking can often have less filtering and even less chance to edit.

Pros and cons I guess.

The right place

I like actually talking to friends but I prefer reading in the forum. It’s easier to skip.

How can I tell them apart from the other voices in my head?

Please no. Some of what I read is bad enough, but to hear innotation trying to reinforce some stuff would be painful

I struggle to understand broad British accents - Newcastle, Liverpool and Scottish particularly, especially if they speak quickly. At least with written text on here I can put into the translator if I don't know the word. I think many would also struggle to understand my accent too

It is good to hear voice. You can tell a lot more about a person from their tone and pace than the words they use....

I like text for the reason of being able to get across thoughts better and being able to re write it if it sounds wrong. Over a phone I can barely speak,my thoughts dont appear. In person is always much better.

Same, I stutter a lot on the phone, or have lots of pauses to think what I am trying to get across. Or more often than not forget things I should be saying!

Yes you do.

I spent years thinking I didn't have one as well to be fair. Just a nondescript accent.

I would like to be able to hear a person's voice when chatting as it's easier to know what they mean by how they say something and the conversation flows more smoothly, in my opinion. As for Fab though, I like reading the forum and I think not having to put your voice out there probably encourages a few more to post who might not be as comfortable speaking.
