Has anyone seen this on Netflix?

Definitely a good watch, if you’ve not seen it. Though it poses the question in the effectiveness of the justice system in America.

I’d be very surprised if he wasn’t innocent

Poor Brendon though! He was so vulnerable and did absolutely nothing wrong, yet was coerced by the police to admit guilt! It’s such a shame!!!

Brendan was treated terribly and the people that interviewed him should be locked up for what they did.

I'm not totally convinced Stephen is innocent but it's likely he was framed.

The whole situation was an absolute disgrace.

I assume it’s lies, the investigating police officers are questionable. When they take the stand in court, you can tell by their faces they’re hiding something

And how did her brother 'guess' her voicemail password for her phone. Those 2 are dodgy as fuck. They just happened to direct someone straight to the car.

Also, if they killed her in the bedroom, why was there no blood there. They're hardly Dexter. And the key had none of Theresa's DNA on it.....odd for something she used and handled hundreds of times.

Brendan was only 16 and needed support at school because of his low IQ (difficulty processing information) yet he was interrogated without a solicitor or appropriate adult present and his 'confession' was used to convict him despite there being no corroborating evidence, such as DNA, whatsoever.

Yes had there been no ‘confessional statement’ they’d have nothing on him. Yet he’s spent all this time in prison

The bullet had wood and paint on it but no brain tissue. There was her DNA on it and a waxy substance which was probably smeared on to the bullet from a Lipsil police removed from her house and brought to the Avery property.

Didn't they say her throat was cut in the bedroom yet there was no evidence? Let's be honest, Stephen was never going to get any awards for most intelligent fellow, how would he have managed to hide every bit of evidence in the bedroom yet left obvious blood drops in the car? It just doesn't make sense.

The only blood in the whole house was Stephen's own in the bathroom sink from a cut finger. I think this is what was used to put his blood spots in her car.

How can you clean the blood from a cut throat totally off a mattress?

So why didn't Brendan mention the drugs and the massive plastic bag in his "confession"? Where is the knife ? Where did he get the drugs and massive plastic carpet bag from ? You have no evidence to back up these allegations.
