Do you indulge in signing them or do you think they're not worth the 'paper' they're written on and do you think it makes it too easy for people to get involved in something without realising both sides of the argument?

Hiding in the shadows

I've signed lots, about issues close to my heart.

Several of which I know have had an impact & changes made as a result of them

Same. I won't sign one just because it is there, there are insane ones floating around.

But if it is something that is worth petitioning for, that I understand I will do it.

Newcastle upon Tyne

I have signed the odd petition in the past but it has to be something that I am passionate about and that is rare. These days there seems to be petitions for the sake petitioning which means I feel they have lost their effectiveness.

If I think it is a worthy cause or a law needs to be reviewed / changed then yes I’ll sign it online.
