"Anyone else suffer? It’s a new diagnosis for me but, oh my god, I feel like performing solo surgery with a rusty tea spoon... does anything give relief? Mr" I had a large stone that was trapped and was in agony. The hospital recommended a low fat diet but ultimately removal. Nothing eased the pain besides ibuprofen and co codamol together. But I felt so much better once it was out x

"Wife suffered with trapped gallstones 1999/2000 - pin was always worse in early hours of morning - she used to be rolling round the floor in pain, took ages to diagnose - evidently it is difficult - and the only relief from the pain was when she had key hole surgery to remove the stones and gall bladder . Once done she was back to normal in double quick time - good luck xx" Its worse in the early hours, because the body is processing the evening meal

Mr" until the point where they may need to remove your gall bladder (keyhole day surgery in and out normally) keep a food diary of everything you eat, that way you can work out what the triggers for your attacks are...... that should help keep them down to a minimum....
