Curious..what part of history are you particularly interested in..I headed up an archeology project a few years ago..we re were self taught but the project turned that particular specialised industrial field on its ear....and am going to look at the other book you re reading...love the inner hidden depths of human sexuality..any particular side that interests you?

Social History 1750-1950.

Sex at Dawn is fascinating. Female sexuality and the fear of it in particular is interesting. It dispels the Victorian ideas of how we should conduct our sexual relationships.

Just read How not to be a racing driver by Jason Plato. Some good stories from his career in that. About to start Without Remorse by Tom Clancey. It’s one of my dads favourite books and I thought I’d give it a try.

Great period of social history especially with Victoria hit ting the throne and taking the care of her people under her wing..so many social reforms..especially on cleaner healthier living..no more back to back housing with no outlets for sewerage dirty water etc. The other book I ll definitely track down and read..thanks
