Looking for quality not quantity

But what if someone sleeps with a lot of people who they find attractive?

Am I the only one who doesn't get this saying?

It’s daft. We’re on a swingers site. Swingers fuck anyone and everyone. Therefore, quantity over quality. Duh

That saying is just to make them look good. Just my personal opinion.

Seen in far off places

Do such folk apply the same set of principles when they choose where to carry out their grocery shopping I wonder?...

Not that I am suggesting we are cheap on here, but they come on a free site demanding 'quality', a 'classy' woman with expensive lingerie not 'cheap tacky stuff'

My own take it stems from my own attitude to things - I'd far rather have multiple meets with one person / couple than numerous one offs

That's not to say one offs aren't nice, but regular is better

We all have a standard and code we live by, if you don't get what they want, chances are that you don't have what it is they want.

Their lives, their rules and if you don't like it, well why are you bothered about it?

Live and let live.

It's about as meaningful as sense of humour - it's subjective and pretty meaningless.

To be honest could view it as a case of they will fuck as many people as they want so long as they find them attractive. Which is fine but worded in a way that just avoids saying "you are not attractive"

Am I messaging them? No. So what's your problem

I'm just seeking a little more clarification from people who have this on their profile.

One person said it might be that they prefer regular rather than one offs.

Which I think is a good explanation.

This explains why I have it on mine and is what I mean when I use it. It certainly isn’t to “make me look good”, as has been suggested on this thread. I’m not really sure in what way this phrase would achieve that aim. But there you go!

We know what you mean

That's one out of the filter isn't it

Good for you.

I prefer a quantity of quality instead

It's judgemental bollocks. Whenever anyone uses that line on me I tell them I'm here to work my way through the site

From my experience, people who have it on their profile tend to have criteria they need someone to meet beyond just finding them attractive and getting on and therefore accept that they will meet less people as a result. Personally I prefer to use less vague wording to explain that haha.

I do think there are some people who use it either when messaging to say that the woman they are interacting with is "high quality" though or use it as their reason for not having many meets.

Beyond finding them attractive and getting on? What else is there

Hey I find you attractive and the chat is great but your socks are yellow and I/We don't meet people who wear yellow socks?

This hasn't made it any less confusing

"But what if someone sleeps with a lot of people who they find attractive?

I think it is a bit confusing, as I don't think the two things are mutually exclusive. I think it's a way for people to say they are looking for more of a connection than "any hole's a goal".

Quality and quantity are subjective and vary depending on personal opinion. The two together in that clichéd phrase tell me nothing. A careful reading of the profile and the vibe it puts out is a much better indicator of the person's preferences.

there's the language and grammar used in the introductory messages that either flatter the recipient or fall flat. The ability to read the situation and the trust that they expect in the sender is obvious. If you cannot see what they are asking for, perhaps you aren't that person. Those whom they are interested just get it, by being it.
