Just wondered what I can do differently as I’ve been honest with people on here, polite, tried a bit of humour but it’s really hard to get a break on here!!

You probably aren't doing anything wrong.

As long as you are polite, dont pester, dont get arsey if you get no reply just keep being you.

I've made nice comments and get no reply most of the time or just a thanks and that's the end of it.

It is what it is. I wouldn't take it personally

Well Danny, I don’t know how long you have been using the forum but this is the first time I’ve noticed you. It can take a while for men to get established on Fab as there are so many of us on here. Focus on how you wish to be seen on here and what good looks like for you, then use all the different tools at your disposal to create that possibility. The forum is a small pond that works for some. Chat rooms work for others but messaging randomly is least effective for most guys unless they have something about them that is very much in demand. Clubs and socials work for many. Being married is limiting but it isn’t insurmountable. Remain open about it.

I like that you are honest about being married, sadly there are a lot on here who lie about it. However, for many (myself included) it is a big no.

Read profiles first and don't message people who state it is not for them. There are people who will meet attached men/women it's a case of accepting you have to work a bit harder to find them .

Patience and respect is key. Allow yourself to experiment and make a few mistakes without beating yourself up and then learn from them. I like that you're honest (the english could be a little better, so focus on details and be sure to remove any typo's). You can either be yourself and wait for a good match who likes you for being you, or you can try to be someone you're not and then have it blow up in your face when your date realises you're not the filtered, polished, funny, witty, guy they were expecting, unless you already are of course.... Asking ppl for advice is great, but choose wisely who you listen to.....

I'd put a bit more about yourself on your bio and move the married bit to the end.

A high percentage of people will be put off by that but there are ladies who meet married guys. Just few and far between.

So unless fab does a part cull on men or there is a big influx of women joining up thats the way it will be.

It's not but it's the numbers that are against you. Men outnumber women by ten to one. Most women I think avoid married men, I do but it's not cos you're cheating. I don't know that your wife's being faithful, do I? It's cos I want to be able to meet in the evenings and not have rushed meets during the day because you're supposed to be at work. Contrary to what people think most guys here aren't married or attached, certainly not in my experience. I'm sorry this isn't more helpful. You look great BTW
