The poor Koala rescued by that brave woman in the Bush fires, has sadly succumbed to his injuries.

1000s have died in these fires, but that's not the whole story .

I have a friend in Australia who is adamant that local councils there take backhanders from local developers to cut down forests of gum trees ( their main diet ) and were already struggling to survive.

Now if ( and it is if) this is true then my view of Australia has gone right downhill

Bit emotive with the dead cute animal. Sad for sure but what about the snakes.....

It's part of the broader story of the bushfires.

Maybe the cute animal stories will give the authorities more of a boot up the arse to act.
