Last gig I went to was Y&T at The Robin2 in Bilston earlier this month.

I would love to see Night Ranger.

Obscureish American rock that a tiny minority of women might actually be enthusiastic about

We went to see Hannah's all-time favourite band A-ha in Belfast a few weeks ago. Sadly it is unlikely we will get a chance to see my all time favourite Huey Lewis & The News as Huey has big hearing difficulties now. Fortunately I have seen them seven times myself and been back-stage with them. Happy days.

The music came out well but they are very dull to watch. The band members who could move around stay almost stationery for the whole thing. Fortunately the video projections behind made it more interesting but they are not great stage performers.

I think I had a Y & album in the late 80's...

Great...

To be honest I was worried that they might have lost their edge, seeing as they are well into their 70s.

Their voices were great and a lot of energy in their performance.

Frisky preferred the warm up act Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders.

Yeah £53 and up in Manchester. I baulked at that, I like some of his stuff but it's a take it or leave if for me.

Mind, this Delain gig cost €29.50 for the ticket, £149 for the flights and £130 for two nights in the hotel so I suppose £53 isn't that bad after all!

I’m a rock and metal head. In the last few months I’ve seen rival sons, dead south, Wednesday 13, Soil, static x, elvana, Slipknot, toyah, those damn crows, crobot, Alice cooper, Black Stone cherry.... and so many more. Gigs are my favourite place to be. I also love small local bands at pubs.

How were Static X without Wayne? I saw their Glasgow date but I’m a weird one for lineups

I think I’ve missed a few beers ut I was a busy little bugger for a while

I would probably literally crash the server if I listed them all! Well over 300 bands and 1000 gigs last time I attempted to count.

I was a gig photographer for a number of years though, which helped as I didn't have to pay to get in!

I could have shortened mine by saying Download 06 07 08

The great thing is I’ve actually shared the stage with a couple of them on the list too

So I could have just said the bands I have seen at hellfest and sonisphere then lol

Lol pretty much, I will add not all of those were at festivals but it’s definitely the majority

We don’t get a lot of big shows coming north of the border although that does look like it’s starting to change, I missed Alice Cooper in Aberdeen

Have to say I first saw black stone cherry play at the Cathouse that was a dirty fun night that’s for sure lol"

Love Clutch, first saw them in 1993 (before he had a beard )

Funny you should ask - we left half way through. They’re not a fave of mine anyway and I was there for the other bands that evening. They sounded over synthed. It was almost like they were lip syncing.

It was fun but a nightmare, my mate's lads band were only 16 and had to get permission from school to tour. It was like knitting for a lot of the time. They told me we had to get to a festival in East Germany, which was fine but it was so far the other side of East Germany that the road signs were in Polish! They then had to play a gig in Belgium the following day so they could pay me back the money that it'd cost me to put fuel in the van to get to Germany, then the following day we had to go back to Germany again for another gig!

My mate wrote a song on the new Hollywood Vampires album. He writes quite a lot with Alice Cooper as well.

Sadly not - but at £2.50 chances were always going to be slim, galling thing was there were loads going spare if you happened to be in the area on the day - seems a lot of people took a flier on finding someone to go with so bought two but then had one going free

We Love Rock and Metal. Love gigs especially. We have a wide range of taste.

Not many bands not seen. Go to Download every year helps I suppose.

Seen Rammstein a few times totally awesome stage show. Steel Panther show was pretty good though.

Metallica doing entire black album was epic.

Faith No More favourite band of Scoobys and Foo Fighters Lunas.

Most bands like to see dont exist any more at least in their original line up as someone died or moved on.

"Just seen Rival Son's twice, awesome performance, support band The Record Company were great too,saw last in line in June at Islington they were great, well worth going to see on current tour, saw Y&T on recent 45th anniversary tour, brilliant as ever, going to see queensryché Sunday, mebs razorlight n Dr feel good in Dec,then gigs I'm really looking forward to next year samantha fish n Marcus king band

Y&T played nearly 2.5 hours. Brilliant, agree.

What do you think of Queensrÿche without Geoff Tate? Have you seen his Youtube videos playing tracks off Mindcrime?"

Yeah Meniketti turns back the years when they do 'I believe in you'!

Was going to go see Tate when he toured but seeing the videos just don't rate him now, queensryché no where like what they were but love operation mindcrime tunes that much n current tour seems good so thought give it a go

Nothing recent compares to Rival Son's though Jay Buchanan one of those guys, live even better than record

Can't wait for schenker next year saw rehearsal video on u you e where he was playing with ex scorps drummer n base, still got it when he wants too
