They're the bids that bury their heads right.

Just turned the news on...so depressing. I'd rather not know about it.

Global warming..death and worse still politics

Do you watch/ read the news or not bother?

I've got to be honest, I've started to avoid it lately. I'm a bit fed up of seeing so much crime so I turned over from the 6 O'clock news tonight and put the Sweeney on ITV3 instead.

I live in my own bubble world and tend not to watch the news. It's all depressing. .

Mr gets frustrated with me because I don't take an interest like he does.

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Despite the fact that most of it is grim, i'm an avid devourer of news from multiple sources. I like to know the real reasons why things happen as they do and the motivations that usually drive them.

A better choice I'd say

I haven’t watched the news for a few years, I had to start screening it for my son who started panicking with all the attacks going on. Anything happens now and it’s on Facebook x

Exactly. For all the politics we could be one of the many third world countries who don't stand a chance due to dictatorship or military coup.

Think not to have the freedom of coming on here.

Nope I don't bother.

If they reported on the good things in life people would be a lot happier.

I'll have the news on for the clock in the mornings if I'm on an early shift.

If I'm on a downer I can't watch it. People being sooooo cruel to one another, abuse, murder, all of the heinous things and sadness can really get to me. The worst bit for me is not being able to do anything about it.

Animals dying, I'm helpless.

Child poverty, I'm helpless.

I want so much to change the world and it makes me feel powerless that I can't.
