Am peeling and salting my shallots for over Xmas.

Any other fabbers pickling or already baking for the festive period?

Sea of jelly and doughnuts

I make hampers for family and friends so started a while ago.

Pickled scotch bonnet chillies

Chilli jam

Cranberry and spiced rum sauce

Rum cake

Pineapple and rum mince pie filling

And I'll bake a few Jamaican breads and cakes the weekend before.

Cornwall

Done a couple of jars of pickled onions so far, will do pickled eggs in a week or two as they don't need a long to soak. Looking at doing some mixed pickled veg this week & also try to make some picalilly/mustard pickle
