How can it be called Black Friday when it goes on all weekend ?

the beauty sites im subscribed to are starting tomorrow. and the gymshark sale is tomorrow as well. i think they like to stretch it out as much as possible so people get the fomo

Black Friday, is the first Friday after thanksgiving.

It’s not really meant to go on all weekend, but humans are a little dull and end up spending 500 bucks on a tv they don’t need....because it had a 100 off it.

Originally Black Friday was the last day to buy online for lat posting day on Cyber Monday. Now couriers can get things posted better and deliver closer to Christmas it doesnt matter so much. When the high street took it on the chaos it insued meant the rethink making the event more like a week or so to help calm things down a little.
