The forum isn't cliquey, it just takes time to break in and there are existing friendships, which is natural.

Clubs, some are, some aren't.

Private meets, depends on the people.

Truth. I always feel I'm on the edge of the forum. Of course I'm aware of one of the reasons and I'm happy to be at the edge rather than the centre. However I can understand how someone who would like to be at the centre might find it cliquey and very daunting.

But honestly it's going to come across that way if you never make an effort to interact and stick yourself in so people can get to know you. It's completely natural that friendships will form and some people will become close and chat to each other more than they will to newbies.

It took me a few months before people would start chatting to me more but I have genuinely always found the forums very welcoming even when I was a newbie. It just takes time and effort before people to start to become familiar with you.

Actually I think some have the wrong end of the stick lol I have no desire to be in the middle of it I did not mean within forums either I meant in general . Especially clubs I find them that way more than anything . Sorry if did not explain myself very well

I've never been to a club so I can't relate to that but I imagine it's quite similar to the forums as in people have just got to know each other. I really hope that nobody excludes you though as I hate that kind of thing, it just reminds me of high school. But, sometimes you do need to get yourself out there.

Forums are newish to me but I do read them a lot . I meant more so in clubs just seems the whole “ swingers” scene is that way not all but Definatly most

I have been here for years and I use the forums regularly. I still don't feel like part of the "in crowd" that's ok though. Just be yourself. Don't worry about others

I just barged my way in and started chatting, it often felt like I was being ignored, still does at times as I'm sure it's the same for others, couldn't give a monkeys though. There's lots of people on here that will make you feel welcome
